FOR RENTERS

Renting, explained.
Your questions answered.

Rental searches, applications, resident support, and military moves.

How do I ask about available rental homes?

Call 719-623-7432 or email contact@summitpeakpm.com. Tell us your preferred location, move-in window, budget, and household needs. We will discuss current options; the photographs on this site are illustrative, not listings of available homes.

What should I prepare before applying?

Ask for the property’s current application criteria, required documents, fees, and submission instructions before applying. Have your preferred move-in date and rental history ready to discuss. Send sensitive identity or financial documents only through the application method Summit Peak confirms, not the public inquiry form.

Who do I contact about my rental?

Contact Summit Peak directly for rental questions and routine concerns. You do not need to coordinate separately with the owner. For urgent maintenance, follow the instructions in your lease or resident materials; the general inquiry form is not an emergency channel.

Who can help if I want to buy a home?

When you are ready to explore buying a home, visit Champ Real Estate at Champrealestate.org, the real estate business of Summit Peak’s owner. You can discuss your home-buying plans there. Continue to contact Summit Peak about your current rental and lease questions.

Which areas do you serve?

Our primary service area is Colorado Springs and El Paso County, including Fountain, Manitou Springs, Monument, Palmer Lake, Calhan, Falcon, Peyton, and Black Forest. Contact us about your specific property or rental search.

Do you work with military families and veterans?

Yes. We help military members, veterans, and their families with rental ownership and rental searches in the Colorado Springs area. Our military background informs the personal service we aim to provide. We also serve the broader community; military service is not required.

What should I do if I receive PCS or deployment orders?

Contact Summit Peak early so we can discuss your timing and the next steps for your property or rental. Certain military orders may give eligible renters lease-termination rights under the Servicemembers Civil Relief Act. Notice and documentation requirements apply.

Review the Department of Justice’s SCRA information and speak with your installation legal assistance office about your situation before assuming a move-out date or payment obligation.

Is Summit Peak veteran owned and operated?

Yes. Summit Peak is led by a U.S. Army veteran. We welcome military members, veterans, and civilian owners and renters alike. You do not need a military connection to work with us.
